What We Do Every Day to Make a Difference
At Saranya 4Care Foundation, our activities are the heart of everything we stand for. Each initiative we undertake is purposefully designed to address the real needs of our communities — with compassion, commitment, and a deep sense of responsibility. From caring for the elderly to empowering women and youth, from broadcasting awareness through community radio to guiding rural families toward better health — we show up, every single day, for the people who need us most.
Old Age Care Initiatives
Our elderly population deserves respect, care, and a life lived with dignity — and that is exactly what we work to provide. Saranya 4Care Foundation runs community-based old age care initiatives focused on improving the physical, emotional, and social well-being of senior citizens in rural and underserved communities.
We recognize that many elderly individuals in rural Mancherial live in isolation, without adequate family support or access to basic services. Through regular community engagement, welfare outreach, and social support programs, we work to ensure that no elderly person feels forgotten or alone. Our initiatives restore their sense of belonging and affirm their rightful place in society.
Mobile Medical Care & Health Awareness
Good health should not be a privilege reserved for those who can afford it. Through our Mobile Medical Care and Health Awareness programs, Saranya 4Care Foundation brings preventive healthcare guidance and medical awareness directly to the doorsteps of rural communities across Mancherial district.
Our health outreach efforts focus on educating communities about preventive care, hygiene, nutrition, maternal health, and chronic disease management. We work to bridge the gap between rural populations and accessible medical services — guiding families toward the right resources, the right information, and the right care at the right time. Because when communities are informed, healthier lives follow.
Women & Child Development
Empowered women build stronger families. Educated children build stronger communities. This is the philosophy that drives our Women & Child Development initiatives at Saranya 4Care Foundation.
We conduct a wide range of awareness and empowerment programs focused on the welfare, rights, and development of women and children in rural Mancherial. From programs that educate women about their legal rights and health to initiatives that support children's learning and protection — our work in this area is as diverse as the needs we address. We create safe spaces for women to learn, grow, and find their voice, while ensuring that children receive the care, attention, and opportunity they deserve to thrive.
Community Radio – Radio Laxmi 89.6 FM
Perhaps the most distinctive and far-reaching aspect of our work is Radio Laxmi 89.6 FM — our community radio station that broadcasts entirely in Telugu, speaking directly to the hearts of rural listeners across a 20-kilometer radius in Mancherial district.
Radio Laxmi is more than a radio station — it is a lifeline of information, awareness, and community connection. Through thoughtfully curated programs, we broadcast content that truly matters to the people we serve, including:
Health Education — Practical, easy-to-understand health information that helps rural communities make informed decisions about their well-being.
Youth Guidance — Programs that inspire, motivate, and guide young people toward education, opportunity, and positive life choices.
Farmer Support Information — Timely and relevant content for the farming community, covering agricultural practices, government schemes, weather guidance, and market information.
Social Development Discussions — Conversations that spark awareness around important social issues, community rights, and inclusive development.
Mental Health Awareness & Suicide Prevention — In a deeply impactful and sensitive area of our broadcasting, Saranya 4Care Foundation has integrated structured mental health awareness and suicide prevention communication into Radio Laxmi's programming. Recognizing the silent struggles many rural individuals face, we use the trusted medium of community radio to open conversations, reduce stigma, spread hope, and connect listeners with the support they need.
Radio Laxmi 89.6 FM is proof that the right message, delivered in the right language, through the right platform, can truly change and save lives.
Vocational Skill Development
Financial independence begins with a skill. At Saranya 4Care Foundation, we are committed to equipping women and youth with practical, in-demand skills that open doors to employment, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance.
Our Vocational Skill Development programs currently focus on two key areas:
Computer Literacy — In an increasingly digital world, basic computer skills are no longer optional — they are essential. We conduct computer literacy training programs that help youth and women navigate digital tools, access online opportunities, and participate confidently in the modern workforce.
Tailoring Skills — Our tailoring training initiatives provide women with a practical, income-generating skill that can be practiced at home or scaled into a small business. For many women in rural Mancherial, tailoring has become a pathway to financial independence, renewed confidence, and a stronger sense of self-worth.
Through vocational skill development, we don't just train hands — we transform lives.
Together, Every Activity Matters
Each activity Saranya 4Care Foundation undertakes is a thread in a larger fabric of community well-being. When the elderly are cared for, when women are empowered, when children are protected, when rural families are informed, and when youth have skills to build futures — the entire community rises together.
This is our work. This is our purpose. And we are just getting started.
